Writing Prompts

Take 20 Minutes to Answer Each Prompt, answers should be approximately 300 words. It's helpful to outline your answers if you can. Time yourself on a phone or with a watch. Remember, you will be timed during the TOEFL exam.

1.) It is often argued that, because education resources are limited, college training should be accessible primarily to the talented. On the other hand, many people believe that the opportunity to receive a college education should be open to all those who have completed high school. Explain some of the arguments for each side, and tell which point of view you agree with and why you hold this opinion.



2.) Some people say that physical exercise should be a required part of every school day. Other people believe that students should spend the whole school day on academic studies. Which opinion do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.




3.) If you could change one important thing about your hometown, what would you change? Use reasons and specific examples to support your answer.
